Two of the most exciting men in combat sports face off when YouTuber Jake Paul and MMA/bare-knuckle fighter Mike Perry compete in a boxing match.
Paul is 9-1 in a boxing ring, with five wins against former MMA fighters. “The Problem Child” was initially going to fight Mike Tyson but had to move that clash to November after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up before the fight.
Perry is the ultimate wild card. He went 7-8 with the UFC before joining Bare Knuckle FC. "Platinum" is 5-0 in bare-knuckle fighting, winning three straight via TKO. A win against Eddie Alvarez in December resulted in him getting crowned the symbolic "King of Violence.”
Also on the card will be unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano fighting Stevie Morgan in a super lightweight bout. The holder of the IBF, WBO, WBA, and Ring belts was supposed to fight Katie Taylor in a rematch from their epic 2022 clash, this time for super lightweight gold, but that has also gotten moved to November.
Serrano has gone 4-0 since the Taylor loss, becoming undisputed at featherweight and defying norms in women’s boxing by competing in 12 three-minute round fights. A Golden Gloves Champion, Morgan is on a six-fight win streak, with all those wins coming via knockout.
Most Valuable Promotions prospect Ashton Sylve also competes on the card, as well as former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The latter faces former UFC star Uriah Hall.
