It’s officially race week and we can’t wait to see you at the start line on Sunday.
We’re expecting more than 25,000 runners on race day and we encourage you to plan your journey ahead of time. There will be a lot of road closures and limited parking available, and we want to make sure you don’t miss your race. If you can, we strongly recommend taking public transport to and from the event – Richmond Station is closest to the event village, an 800m walk.
Once you arrive at the event village, it’s also super important to allow yourself enough time to get to the start line, which is located on Batman Avenue. Embrace the challenge of running through the city of Melbourne at Run Melbourne on 21 July 2024.
With 5.5km & 10km fun runs and a Half Marathon, there's an option available for everyone. Sweat, celebrate and push yourself past iconic city landmarks, with the crowds cheering you on.
It’s also your chance to run for a charity close to your heart and celebrate running in ways you never thought possible.
